The Claims: Stormfront is the largest White Nationalist website in the world, and a resource for those courageous men and women fighting to preserve their White Western culture, ideals and freedom of speech and association. A pro-White forum and community for planning strategies and forming political and social groups to create unity and foster positive Nationalist ideologies and pro-White views.

The Reality: While Stormfront is the most trafficked White Nationalist website in the world, the actual number of real White Nationalist members is a fraction of the 232,000+ screen names registered on the site. The bloated members list has been accumulated over the past 10 years, with very little regard to keeping the list free of "bad accounts." When you factor in the sheer number of spam bots, obvious anti-racists, anti-racists pretending to be White Nationalists, news reporters, researchers, law enforcement personnel, multiple accounts, sock puppets and countless other non-White Nationalist accounts that have been registered in those 10 years, a very liberal estimate would be that Stormfront could claim a worldwide registration total of 40,000 or so members who have deemed themselves to be White Nationalist. Of that total, there's no telling how many members still consider themselves to be White Nationalist, or registered on Stormfront only to never participate, because it didn't amount to much in terms of producing a viable community.

Despite the claims of being a beacon of hope and destination for White people who value freedom of speech, Stormfront is heavily moderated, and the atmosphere is hostile to anyone who doesn't toe the line. Any criticism(conjectural or even factual) of Stormfront's incessant begging for money is censored. Users are usually put on moderation and/or banned as a result.

Stormfront management has pretty much relegated the site to being a monthly fundraising tool that berates and belittles its membership into donating money to keep Stormfront from being shut down. The inflated costs of keeping the website online are calculated to be $3,000+/month, while the sparsely listened to radio program is reported to be another $3,500/month or so. All told, Stormfront requires a minimum of $7,500/ month in order to simply stop pestering its members for more money. Well, until the donation plate is passed around again, because, sure enough, like a finely-tuned menstrual cycle, the cries for more donations come flooding in around the same time next month.

Members are incessantly reminded about the costs associated with Stormfront. They are bombarded with posts and private messages reminding them of the impending doom to the White race should they not fork over money to keep Stormfront & Co. rolling along. It's still a mystery what exactly Stormfront does beyond providing a cheap Internet forum to rant and rave about everything bad being attributed to Jews, and making many more enemies than friends. But apparently, whatever the case may be, mediocrity costs a minimum of $7,500/month in the White Nationalist sphere.
